Our journey

From a spare office to three U.S. fulfillment centers

Atomix grew out of a spare office at a family delivery business in Milwaukee. Scroll through the milestones that turned it into a three-facility fulfillment partner for hundreds of high-growth brands.

2020

Started in a spare office

Austin Kreinz grew up around his family’s logistics business in Milwaukee, then saw firsthand while scaling a fast-growing ecommerce brand how often traditional 3PLs held brands back. In 2020 he and Patrick Day, an operator with more than a decade of fulfillment experience, launched Atomix from a spare office at the family business with one idea: the Micro-Pod, a dedicated mini-warehouse for every brand.

2021

Our first warehouse

Atomix moves into a no-frills brick building in Milwaukee to support its first wave of brands. Folding tables served as pack stations, a hand-drawn sign hung on the wall, and the team built the hands-on, brand-by-brand service that still defines how Atomix works.

2023

Oak Creek facility opens

Demand outgrows Milwaukee, and Atomix opens a 60,000 sq ft facility in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. The added space lets the team scale the Micro-Pod model to more brands without losing the dedicated, brand-specific care clients signed up for.

2024

Salt Lake City opens

A 30,000 sq ft warehouse in Salt Lake City extends Atomix to the West, enabling bicoastal shipping and faster delivery for clients across the Western U.S. The same year, Austin is named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list and Atomix is recognized as a Best Place to Work.

A 150,000 sq ft HQ

Atomix relocates its Midwest headquarters to a 150,000 sq ft facility in Oak Creek and acquires Airyze, an East Coast 3PL. The company ranks No. 9 on the Inc. 5000 with 11,768% three-year revenue growth, places 12th on the Clutch 100 and joins the Top 50 U.S. 3PLs, while Austin is named an EY Entrepreneur of the Year Midwest finalist.
