Kinder’s started in 1946 as John Kinder’s butcher shop in San Pablo, California, and today sells BBQ sauces, rubs, seasonings, gravies, bone broth and ready-to-cook items in grocery stores nationwide and online. Kinder’s has worked with Atomix since 2023. They wanted more than a warehouse that ships on time. They wanted a partner that would customize their fulfillment and give every order a personal touch, all while handling high daily volume, lot and expiration dates, and large seasonal inbound loads.
Atomix rolled out custom tape and custom boxes for Kinder’s orders, and in spring 2026 connected the team with several companies in our partner network to upgrade their DTC unboxing experience. When Kinder’s acquired Bare Bones, we launched the line under the Kinder’s brand, and we are now setting up the same custom packaging for Bare Bones and a second newly acquired brand. From May through October 2026 alone, Atomix shipped more than 151,000 Kinder’s orders with 99.9% on time and received more than 523,000 units of inventory.
The Challenge
Kinder’s sells a wide, fast-moving food catalog through retail and ecommerce, and that scale puts real pressure on fulfillment.
High Daily Order Volume
Kinder’s ships more than 20,000 orders a month, so a slow day at the warehouse turns into a backlog quickly.
Lot and Expiration Control
Seasonings, gravies and broths carry lot numbers and expiration dates that need to be tracked from receiving to the shipping box.
Large Seasonal Inbound
Retail and seasonal demand bring big inbound shipments that have to be counted and put away fast so stock is ready to sell.
Absorbing an Acquisition
After acquiring Bare Bones, Kinder’s needed every new SKU and its order volume folded into the operation without slowing down shipping.
More Than On-Time Shipping
Kinder’s wanted a fulfillment partner that would do more than ship on time, with room for customization and a personal touch.
Elevating the DTC Unboxing
Direct-to-consumer orders needed to look and feel like Kinder’s from the moment the box lands on the doorstep.

Kinder’s is growing through acquisitions as well as new products. After Bare Bones, the brand added another company to its portfolio, and both brands now want the same custom treatment Kinder’s gets. Atomix is setting up their custom packaging and DTC unboxing upgrades now, so each brand ships with the same personal touch.
As the lineup grows, Atomix will keep bringing new products online quickly and giving the Kinder’s team the inventory visibility it needs to plan ahead.
